These two scarves crochet too.I didn't use any specific pattern or any size.For the brown one,the yarn is lion brand fun fur. I got them in two colors and crocheted alternating them. My kids named it " fuzzy ". Blue scarf was another yarn that I got from Ac.moore's clearance section it is some kind of baby sport yarn, I really like the color and feel of it.It's light and comfy.
